BROWNIES CREEK, KY - According to the Bell County Sheriff's Department: At approximately 2:24 AM Saturday morning October 21, 2023, Bell County Dispatch received a call of an accident with injuries in the Brownies Creek community on Highway 987 near the 10 mile marker.
Bell County Deputy Samson Churchwell along with Bell County EMS and Bell County Volunteer Fire Department arrived on the scene to discover that the vehicle left the roadway and traveled down an embankment, flipping on its top in a creek.
Deputy Churchwell requested the Bell County Coroner's Office to the scene. Responding was Deputy Coroner Jason Steele who declared 26-year-old Wesley Miller of Miracle, KY deceased.
Bell County Deputy Samson Churchwell is in charge of the investigation.
