LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Nate Bishop arrested Christopher D. Smith age 41 of London on Saturday night November 18, 2023 at approximately 8:10 PM.
The arrest occurred off Line Creek Road, approximately 8 miles South of London after Deputy Bishop was dispatched by the Laurel County 911 Dispatch Ctr. to a disturbance complaint.
Upon arrival at the scene, Deputy Bishop conducted an investigation and learned that allegedly, a verbal argument apparently led to a male juvenile being physically assaulted.
EMS was on scene and checked the male juvenile.
Christopher D. Smith was charged with:
- Assault – 4th degree
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
