Wanted Parole Violator Taken into Custody during Investigation of Burglary in Progress Complaint near London, Kentucky

LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Detective Robert Reed along with Capt. Chris Edwards, Shift Sgt. Brett Reeves, and Maj. Robbie Grimes arrested Connor Deible age 30 of London on Tuesday afternoon November 21, 2023 at approximately 12:30 PM.

The arrest occurred at a residence off East Pittsburg Church Road, near London after deputies were dispatched to a burglary in progress complaint there.

Upon arrival at the scene, a home owner provided a key to the residence and deputies entered the residence and found the suspect hiding in a closet in the master bedroom.

An investigation was conducted and it was learned that this individual did not have permission to be in the residence and was found in possession of drug paraphernalia.

In addition, it was determined that this subject was wanted on an active parole violation warrant.

Connor Deible was charged with:

  • Burglary – second-degree
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia

In addition, the subject was charged on a Kentucky Parole Board parole violation warrant charging:

  • Absconding parole supervision
  • Failure to complete graduated sanctions
  • Failure to report to parole officer as directed regarding a conviction in Campbell County Circuit Court on charges of:
  • Burglary – third-degree.

This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
