Out-of-Control Subject at a Residence in Laurel County, KY Told Arresting Deputies That He Woke Up on Wrong Side of Bed

LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Austyn Weddle arrested Logan Peters age 23 of East Bernstadt on Saturday evening November 25, 2023 at approximately 6:38 PM.

The arrest occurred at a residence off Little Arthur Ridge Road, approximately 7 miles north of London after deputies were dispatched to an out-of-control male subject there.

As deputies were responding to the scene, they learned that apparently a male subject was tearing the house up, had thrown a flowerpot at his grandmother's car and had broken a window out of the complainant’s and grandmother’s residence.

In addition, they learned that apparently this subject had made threats to kill his mother and her other family members in the residence.

When deputies arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation, Logan Peters admitted to the allegations stating he woke up on the wrong side of the bed.

Logan Peters was charged with:

  • Assault – 4th degree
  • Criminal mischief – third-degree
  • Menacing
  • Terroristic threatening – third-degree

This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
