LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's K-9 Deputy Brian France along with Deputy Noah and Deputy Allen Turner arrested two individuals on Sunday afternoon January 7, 2024 at approximately 1:23 PM.
The arrests occurred off Finley Trailer Park Road, near London after deputies were dispatched to a disturbance complaint there.
Upon arrival at the scene, an investigation was conducted and it was learned that allegedly two individuals had been involved in an altercation there.
The two arrested individuals were identified as: William Larry Sweet age 61 of Okeechobee, Florida and Michelle Allen age 35 of Columbus Indiana.

William Sweet was charged with:
- Assault – 4th degree
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
Michelle Allen was charged with:
- Assault – 4th degree
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
