LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Detective Taylor McDaniel along with Detective Hunter Disney arrested Malvin Merced age 43 of London on Thursday afternoon February 8th, 2024 at approximately 5:10 PM.
The arrest occurred off Riviera Lane, approximately 1 mile west of London following an investigation into a complaint that this subject had allegedly assaulted a 17-year-old female by hitting her in the face.
Malvin Merced was charged with:
- Assault – 4th degree- child abuse
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
