UPDATE: KSP ASKING PUBLIC FOR ASSISTANCE IDENTIFYING AN ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECT IN FULTON COUNTY, KENTUCKY

HICKMAN, KY – Kentucky State Police (KSP), Post 1 is investigating an armed robbery that occurred in Hickman City just after 8:00 pm CT on February 7.

Hickman City Police received a call from Wine Cellar II on South 7th Street in the city limits of Hickman reporting the robbery immediately after it occurred.

Hickman City Police then requested KSP to investigate the incident.

The initial investigation revealed that a black male entered the liquor store and approached the employees behind the counter. He displayed a handgun and demanded money from the cash register. After taking the money from the cash register, the male also took a bottle of liquor and left the store.

The robbery suspect was operating a white SUV believed to be a Ford Edge or Ford Escape.

The suspect is described as a black male wearing:

  • A black hooded sweatshirt,
  • Jeans
  • A white face mask
  • A white glove on one hand

Nobody was injured during the course of the robbery.

KSP is asking the public for assistance in identifying the suspect and vehicle pictured.
