LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Noah Ritchie along with London PD K-9 Officer Dylan Messer arrested Jackie King age 65 of Strunk, KY on Monday afternoon February 19, 2024 at approximately 12:21 PM.
The arrest occurred on N. Main St. in London following a traffic stop conducted on an unbelted driver.
During the stop it was determined that the driver, identified as, Jackie King age 65 of Strunk, KY was operating on a DUI suspended license.
In addition, LPD Officer Messer's K-9 alerted on the vehicle leading the officers to find a pipe with residue in the driver's possession.
Jackie King was charged with:
- Driving on a DUI suspended license – first offense
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Failure to wear seatbelts
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
