FRANKFORT, KY – Attorney General Russell Coleman issued the following statement Tuesday in support of the courageous men and women of the Louisville Metro Police Department:
"Wearing the badge of law enforcement comes with the highest standards and a constant drive to improve. The challenges of the past do not overshadow the present courage LMPD officers bring to keep families safe in a professional and constitutional way.
"I'm constantly inspired by the young officers who raise their hand to serve and put their own safety on the line to protect Kentucky. As they do, they will always have an ally in the Attorney General's Office."
