LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Shawn Hansel, a 17 year-old missing juvenile who was reported as a runaway at the Laurel County Sheriffs Office in London on Monday morning February 19, 2024 has been located safe.
According the the Laurel County Sheriff's Office, Shawn Hansel was found SAFE in Newport, Kentucky on Saturday evening February 24, 2024 at 7:46 p.m.. No other information was released.

Shawn Hansel, age 17 was last seen at 9:30 P.M. on Sunday, February 18th, 2024, off Laurel Cove Road 4 miles north of London, KY.
Shawn was wearing a blue and white sweat outfit and sandals.
