MANCHESTER, KENTUCKY WOMAN ARRESTED FOR DUI AND ASSAULTING A BUSINESS OWNER IN LONDON

LONDON, KY - The London Police Department (LPD) reports that on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at approximately 12:27 PM, LPD Corporal Justin Hopkins arrested Beth A. Moore of Manchester, KY.

London PD Officers had received a complaint that a female, later identified as Beth Moore, age 41 of Manchester, KY had assaulted a business owner on Main Street and had fled the scene in a gray Chevrolet Equinox.

While attempting to locate the vehicle, a second complaint came out that a female in a gray Chevrolet Equinox was attempting to make entry into an apartment that was not hers.

Corporal Hopkins located the vehicle in the area near the second complaint.

Upon contact with Moore, Corporal Hopkins noted that she was acting very confused and erratic.

Moore was asked to conduct Standard Field Sobriety Tests, and upon completion, was determined to be under the influence. This subject was placed under arrest without incident and transported to the Laurel County Detention Center.

Corporal Hopkins was assisted on scene by Major Randy Medlock, Sgt. Elbert Riley, Sgt. Troy Truett, Officer James Williams and Officer Hobie Daugherty.
 
Beth Moore was charged with:

  • Operating a Motor Vehicle U/Influence of Alcohol/Substance 1st Offense
  • Assault 4th Degree (No Visible Injury)

This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center..
