Task Force Arrest with Nearly Three (3) Pounds of Meth Seized at a Traffic Crash in Laurel County, Kentucky

LONDON, KY - The Laurel County Sheriff's Office is reporting that: Laurel County Sheriff John Root, London City Police Chief Chuck Johnson and Knox County Sheriff Mike Smith announce that the Laurel County “Drug Interdiction” Task Force arrested Brandon Bustle age 38, of London, KY on Wednesday, February 28th, 2024 at approximately 4:00 PM at a traffic crash site in Laurel County, KY.

An interdiction traffic stop was orchestrated after information was developed, however prior to the stop, the suspect was involved in a traffic crash.

Interdiction officers were on scene at the crash site and found Brandon Bustle in possession of 2.6 pounds of meth, suboxone and a handgun.

Brandon Bustle, age 38, and seized contraband

Brandon Bustle was charged with:

  • Trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – over 2 grams of methamphetamine
  • Possession of a handgun by a convicted felon
  • Possession of a controlled substance – third-degree
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia

This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
