Theft Suspect Identified and Arrested in Laurel County, Kentucky

LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Zach Allen arrested Sarah Fulton age 23 of Baker Ridge Road, Keavy on Thursday afternoon March 7, 2024 at approximately 4:17 PM.

LSO logo Blackand Gold 200The arrest occurred off U.S. 25 approximately 7 miles South of London following an investigation conducted by Deputy Allen regarding a theft case that had occurred on Wise Owl Road on Saturday, February 24, 2024.

In that case surveillance photos were posted on social media concerning the theft and resulting in numerous tips being received.

Deputy Allen followed up on leads that were developed and as a result a suspect was identified.

This individual admitted to Deputy Allen that she had committed the theft.

Sarah Fulton was charged with:

  • Theft by unlawful taking
  • Criminal mischief – third-degree

In addition, this subject was charged on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of:

  • Operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense

This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
