FATAL COLLISION ON SOUTHBOUND INTERSTATE 75 IN KENTUCKY

WILLIAMSBURG KY - Kentucky State Police Post 11, London responded to a single vehicle fatal collision that occurred Wednesday morning March 13, 2024 just after 06:41 am. The accident occurred on Interstate I-75 at the 15-mile marker southbound.

Through preliminary investigation, officers determined a 2023 KIA Sportage, operated by 66-year-old William L. Hoskins of London, KY was traveling south on Interstate I-75 when he lost control of his vehicle leaving the roadway and hit a rock wall.

Mr. Hoskins was transported by Whitley County EMS to Baptist Regional Hospital in Corbin, but Mr. Hoskins succumbed to his injuries and pronounced deceased by the Whitley County Coroner’s Office.

KSP Trooper Craig Reed is continuing the investigation. He was assisted at the scene by additional Post 11 personnel, Whitley Co. Ambulance Service, and the Whitley City Fire Department and the Whitley County Coroner’s Office.
