SEIZED CONTRABAND: Manchester, Kentucky Man Arrested When Drugs And Paraphernalia Located During Traffic Stop In Laurel County

LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Matt Walker along with Deputy Tommy Houston arrested Allen Ray Riley, age 25 of Manchester on Saturday morning March 16, 2024 at approximately 10:29 AM.

The arrest occurred on Fariston Road approximately 3 miles South of London following a traffic stop conducted on a gray Honda Accord that was observed traveling at a high rate of speed along the narrow road.

In addition, the vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign. Deputy Walker initiated his emergency equipment conducting a traffic stop.

During the stop the driver was determined to be under the influence and was found in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.

Allen Ray Riley was charged with:

  • Operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense
  • Driving on a DUI suspended license – first offense
  • Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – Methamphetamine
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia and other charges.

This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
