PAINTSVILLE, KY – Kentucky State Police (KSP) report the arrest of two individuals on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 after illegal drugs were discovered during a routine traffic stop.
KSP Post 9’s Drug Interdiction Unit conducted a traffic stop in the Paintsville community of Johnson County.
During the investigation, approximately 1 kilogram of suspected Methamphetamine was located inside the vehicle and seized.
Makayla Garner, 20, of Akron, OH, was arrested and lodged in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center on charges of:
- Trafficking Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)
- Speeding violation
Antwan Freeman, 22, of Akron, OH, was arrested and lodged in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center on charges of:
- Trafficking Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)
