LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's K-9/shift Sgt. Gary Mehler along with Deputy Zach Allen arrested Melissa Mink age 39 of Williamsburg, KY on Thursday night March 14, 2024 at approximately 8:10 PM.
The arrest occurred on Blossom Ridge Drive, approximately 10 miles South of London after this subject was charged on a Harlan Circuit Court indictment warrant of arrest charging:
- Flagrant nonsupport
- Persistent felony offender I
In addition this subject was charged on a Harlan Circuit Court bench warrant of arrest charging nonpayment of court costs and fines regarding charges of:
- Unlawful possession of meth precursor – first
- Tampering with physical evidence
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
Also the subject was charged on a Whitley District Court bench warrant of arrest charging nonpayment of court costs and fines regarding charges of:
- Theft by unlawful taking under $500
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
