LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Tommy Houston along with Deputy Matt Walker arrested Jared Malicoat, age 33 of London on Saturday night March 23, 2024 at approximately 7:38 PM.
The arrest occurred on KY 192 in London following a traffic stop conducted on a red Chevrolet Tahoe that was being operated without the use of tail lights or signals.
During the traffic stop the driver was determined to be under the influence and was taken into custody and transported to the the Laurel County Correctional Center.
Jared Malicoat was charged with:
- Operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
