MAN WITH FOUR DUI CONVICTIONS ARRESTED AT COMPLAINT SCENE IN LAUREL COUNTY, KENTUCKY FOR DRUGS AND 5TH DUI CHARGE

LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Tommy Houston arrested Christopher Mills age 43 of Braxton Ln., Lily on Thursday morning March 28, 2024 at approximately 10:50 AM.

LSO logo Blackand Gold 200The arrest occurred on Warren Chandler Road, approximately 10 miles South of London after deputies were dispatched to a complaint of a man apparently passed out behind the wheel of a silver Chrysler Town & Country vehicle.

The complainant stated that he thought the driver may be having a medical emergency.

When deputies arrived at the scene Deputy Houston along with Deputy Matt Walker awakened the driver and conducted an investigation determining that he was under the influence.

This individual was found in possession of suspected Gabapentin and Klonopin along with a glass pipe.

It was also determined that this individual had 4 prior DUI convictions.

Christopher Mills was charged with:

  • Operating a motor vehicle under the influence – fourth or more offenses – this arrest is his fifth arrest for DUI

In addition, this subject was also charged with:

  • Operating on suspended or revoked operator's license;
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Possession of a controlled substance – third-degree

This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
