LONDON, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: On Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Walmart in London, a "Heart Child" celebration was held in honor of six (6) year old Maizley.
The event was hosted by Walmart Transportation.
Maizley's honors included a special escort provided by local First Responders including:
- Laurel County Sheriff's Office
- London City Police
- London Fire Dept.
- London-Laurel County Rescue Squad
Also escorting were:
- Jackson RECC
- Walmart Transportation
During the event, Maizley was made an honorary Walmart Transportation truck driver and received a "Special Escort" in a Walmart tractor trailer from Walmart DC to London's Walmart with her picture sporting a Heart Child shirt on the rig's front grill.

At Walmart in London a celebration was then held in her honor.

Laurel County Sheriff John Root stated it was a privilege for his office to participate in this event.
