LONDON, KY - Early Thursday morning April 04, 2024 at approximately 3:26 am, Officer Kendric Smith, arrested Michael C. Angle, age 38 of Prestonsburg, KY.
While on routine patrol, Officer Smith was notified by the 911 Dispatch Center of black four door passenger vehicle in the ditch on W. 5th Street. Officer Smith located the vehicle and the operator, identified as Angle.
Officer Smith noted a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from Angle.
Through investigation, Officer Smith was able to determine that Angle was under the influence and placed him under arrest without incident.
Angle was later lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
Michael C. Angle was charged with:
- Operating a Motor Vehicle U/Influence - 1st Offense
- Failure to Wear Seat Belts
- Driving on DUI Suspended License - 1st Offense
- Failure to Produce Insurance Card
