LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's K-9/shift Sgt. Gary Mehler along with Deputy Zach Allen arrested Joshua Turner age 39 of East Bernstadt on Tuesday afternoon May 28, 2024 at approximately 2:30 PM.
The arrest occurred off Highway 3094 approximately 3 miles north of London, KY after this subject was charged on an indictment warrant of arrest.
Joshua Turner was charged on a Knox Circuit Court indictment warrant of arrest charging:
- Criminal mischief – first-degree
- Theft by unlawful taking – auto
- Possession of burglary tools
- Persistent felony offender I
In addition, this subject was charged on a Knox District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of:
- Operating on suspended or revoked operator's license
Also, this subject was charged on a second Knox District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of:
- Operating on suspended or revoked operator's license
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
