Manhunt under way in Kentucky for suspect after discovery of a Double Murder off Tom Cat Trail in Laurel County

UPDATE- Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Joseph L. Benge, the suspect in a double murder off Tomcat Trail in Laurel County has been taken into custody.

The suspect, Joseph L. Benge age 40 has no beard or mustache now

LONDON, KY (September 15 2020) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: A suspect in a double murder off Tomcat Trail in Laurel County is being sought by the Laurel County Sheriff's office. The discovery was made on Tuesday afternoon September 15th.

The suspect Joseph L. Benge age 40 fled the scene in a white 2015 Ford Taurus with KY license number 118WFS.

LSO is reporting that Benge is probably armed and is considered dangerous.

A phone ping showed Mayfield, Ky.

The Laurel Sheriff's Office is investigating.

UPDATE: LSO is reporting that the suspect, Joseph L. Benge age 40 who fled the scene in a white 2015 Ford Taurus was taken into custody Tuesday night September 15, 2020 by the Kentucky State Police in Mayfield, Ky.
