Theft Suspect Apprehended in Laurel County, Kentucky Following a Foot Chase & Brief Scuffle

LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Allen Turner arrested Timothy Paul Combs age 42 of London on Sunday morning February 7, 2021 at approximately 10:23 AM.

The arrest occurred at a residence off Mitchell Creek Road approximately 3 miles west of London after information was developed on the whereabouts of a possible suspect that had allegedly been breaking into cars off Mitchell Creek Road and Bryants Way recently.

When Deputy Turner arrived at the residence he overheard an individual fleeing out the back door of the residence and following a foot chase and brief scuffle the suspect was taken into custody.

The suspect stated during the investigation that he in fact had broken into several vehicles recently there in the area.

Timothy Paul Combs was charged with:

  • Six counts of theft of items from the vehicle under $500

This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
