Suspect arrested during Complaint Investigation in Laurel County, Kentucky

LONDON, KY (January 14, 2022) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Dylan Messer along with Deputy Greg Poynter and Deputy Josh Morgan arrested Nathan D. Moore age 42 of Indian Camp Road, London on Saturday night January 8, 2022 approximately 10:26 PM.

The arrest occurred at a residence off Locust Grove Road, approximately 5 miles southwest of London after deputies were dispatched to a burglary complaint there.

The complainant advised that her ex-boyfriend had kicked in her garage door and made entry into her residence.

When deputies arrived at the scene they located the suspect in the doorway of the residence and learned from the female subject there that the suspect had allegedly forced entry into her residence and that she and a male subject there had allegedly defended themselves resulting in injuries to the suspect.

Deputies sought medical treatment for the suspect and following release from the hospital on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, this individual was lodged in jail.

In addition, deputies learned there was an active and served EPO in place.

Nathan Moore was charged with:

  • Burglary – second-degree
  • Violation of Kentucky EPO

This individual is lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
