Third Offense DUI Arrest for Driver found in possession of a Pipe and suspected Methamphetamine in Laurel County, Kentucky

LONDON, KY (February 15, 2022) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Tommy Houston along with Deputy Landry Collett and Deputy Justin Taylor arrested Bryan S. Hines age 34 of Balfour Drive, Lexington early Tuesday morning February 15, 2022 at approximately 12:32 AM.

The arrest occurred on I–75 approximately 10 miles north of London after deputies conducted a traffic stop for traffic violations on a black colored Pontiac Grand Prix.

During the stop the driver was determined to be under the influence and was found in possession of a Meth pipe and suspected Methamphetamine.

Bryan Hines was charged with:

  • Operating a motor vehicle under the influence – third offense
  • Driving on a DUI suspended license – first offense
  • Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – Methamphetamine
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia

This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
