FATAL HEAD-ON CRASH ON HIGHWAY 211 IN CLACKAMAS COUNTY, OREGON

CLACKAMAS COUNTY, OR - (April 15, 2022) - The Oregon State Police is reporting that on Thursday, April 14th, 2022 at approximately 6:00 PM, OSP Troopers and emergency personnel responded to the report of a two-vehicle crash on Highway 211 near milepost 3. 

The preliminary investigation revealed a Gray Honda Civic, operated by Wendy Falk (52) of Boring, was traveling southbound when it crossed over into the northbound lane and collided nearly head-on with a Silver Dodge 1500, operated by Thomas Dunn, (41) of Sandy. There was a severe hailstorm and freezing temperatures at the time of the collision. Weather is believed to be a contributing factor. 

Falk suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased. Dunn suffered minor injuries and cooperated with investigators at the scene. 

Highway 211 was closed for approximately 3 hours while Oregon State Police Troopers completed a crash investigation. 

OSP was assisted by the Oregon Department of Transportation.

This is an ongoing investigation and more information will be released when available.
