BAKER COUNTY, OR (May 16, 2022) - The Oregon State Police is reporting that on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at approximately 4:18 PM, OSP Troopers and emergency personnel responded to a single vehicle crash on Interstate 84 near milepost 327.
The preliminary investigation revealed a westbound silver Chevrolet Impala, operated by Jerry Linear (63) of Seattle, WA, failed to negotiate a curve and as it exited the roadway, rolled onto its top.
Linear sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased.
The shoulder of I-84 was closed for approximately 3 hours while the scene was investigated.
OSP was assisted by ODOT.
