LONDON, KY - Acting Chief of Police is reporting that on Friday, May 9th, 2025 at approximately 9:19 am, LPD Officer Brennan Jackson arrested Kenneth Taylor, age 38, of London, KY.
Officers James Williams and Brennan Jackson responded to Cumberland Valley National Bank for a report of a fraudulent check attempting to be cashed. Once on scene, officers spoke with bank personnel and observed the suspect vehicle, driven by Taylor.
It was at this time that Taylor became aware of their presence and attempted to speed off towards KY-192. Officers activated their emergency equipment to conduct a traffic stop but Taylor failed to yield and continued west on KY-192. After a brief chase, Taylor could no longer proceed due to backed up traffic and was taken into custody without further incident.
Taylor was charged with Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 1st Degree and Fleeing or Evading Police 2nd Degree (Motor Vehicle. Taylor was also found to have an active warrant for Felony Probation Violation.
Officers Jackson and Williams were assisted on scene by Officer Michael Blair and Officer Eric Wilkerson.
