LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's interdiction unit Justin Taylor along with Deputy Robert Smith arrested Crystal Gail Wilson, age 47 of Corbin early Friday morning May 16, 2025 at approximately 1:40 AM.
The arrest occurred off KY 312 approximately 10 miles South of London. The arrest occurred following a traffic stop conducted on a gray Honda civic whose vehicle displayed a non-plate. During the stop it was determined that the driver was operating on a suspended license and had numerous outstanding arrest warrants.
In addition this subject was found in possession of suspected methamphetamine.
Crystal Gail Wilson was charged with:
- No registration plates
- Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – methamphetamine
In addition, this subject was charged on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of assault – 4th degree.
Also this subject was charged on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of license to be in possession.
Also this individual was charged on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of improper display of registration plates.
This subject was also charged on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of:
Assault – 4th degree.
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
