LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel County Sheriff's Detective Tommy Houston arrested Shane A. Johns, age 27 of Lily on Tuesday evening May 27, 2025 at approximately 5:30 PM.
The arrest occurred at a residence in Lily, approximately 7 miles South of London following an investigation conducted after deputies were dispatched by London – Laurel County 911 Communication Ctr. to a complaint at a residence there.
Deputies were assisted by DCBS.
Shane Johns was charged with:
- Sexual abuse – first-degree – victim under 12 years of age
This individual was was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
