PADUCAH, KY — The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office arrested two individuals Thursday afternoon June 12, 2025 on charges related to trafficking methamphetamine. The arrests resulted from a joint investigation conducted in cooperation with the Graves County Sheriff’s Office and the Paducah Police Department.
During the investigation, detectives with the Graves County Sheriff’s Office obtained arrest warrants for 46-year-old Mysti Bonnell for trafficking in methamphetamine. On June 12, 2025, McCracken County Sheriff’s Office detectives received information that Bonnell was actively selling methamphetamine in McCracken County.
Detectives arranged a controlled purchase from Bonnell, during which the investigation revealed that she was obtaining her supply from 32-year-old Dillion Watwood at a residence located at 1965 South 25th Street in Paducah. Detectives located Watwood in the backyard of the residence and placed him under arrest.
During the arrest, detectives recovered approximately 73 grams of methamphetamine concealed on Watwood’s person, along with currency believed to be proceeds from illegal drug sales. Watwood was on probation at the time of his arrest for a prior trafficking in methamphetamine conviction, enhancing the severity of the new charges.
Arrested:
Mysti Bonnell, 46, of Birch Street, Paducah, KY charged with:
- Trafficking in Methamphetamine
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (McCracken County)
- Trafficking in Methamphetamine (Graves County Warrant)
Dillion Watwood, 32, of Wickliffe, KY charged with:
- Trafficking in Methamphetamine (2nd or Subsequent Offense)
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
The investigation remains ongoing and further charges may be forthcoming.
