Deceased Identified in June 23 Truck, Motorcycle Fatal Crash in Clackamas County, Oregon

BORING, OR - On June 23, 2025, Clackamas County Sheriff's Office deputies and investigators responded to a fatal traffic crash in Boring.

Shortly before 3:00 p.m. on Monday, June 23, deputies responded to a report of a traffic crash at the intersection of SE Orient Drive and SE Joette Drive in Boring. The crash involved a Harley-Davidson motorcycle and a commercial box truck. The motorcycle rider was on the ground, with bystanders performing CPR.

First responders from Clackamas Fire and Sandy Police arrived and took over CPR. The motorcycle rider was declared deceased at 3:03 p.m.

CCSO Deputies and Oregon State Police troopers arrived on scene and began interviewing the truck driver and witnesses to the crash, as well as performing a safety inspection on the commercial motor vehicle. They were joined by a Clackamas County Medical Examiner and a Vehicular Major Crimes Deputy District Attorney. Criminal Forensic and Reconstruction Technicians (CRAFT) also arrived to document and investigate the scene.

The case is still under investigation, and no criminal charges have been filed at this time. Authorities do not believe speed or intoxication were factors in the crash. The driver of the truck is cooperating fully with authorities.

Family notifications are complete, and the deceased rider can be identified as Jeremy Alexander Taylor, 40, of Canby.
