LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Jared Hale arrested Stormi Kaitlyn Maxey, age 28, of London early Friday morning July 18, 2025 at approximately 1:38 AM.

The arrest occurred following a complaint deputy Hale received from London – Laurel County 911 Communication Ctr. of a suspicious person off Hal Rogers Parkway in London apparently driving a silver Kia. The suspect vehicle rolled into Deputy Hale’s cruiser causing damage. The driver was then taken into custody without incident.

An investigation was conducted and the driver, identified as Stormi Kaitlyn Maxey was determined to be under the influence.
