(Depoy, KY)—On Thursday, January 30, 2014 at 2:01 am (CST) a house fire was reported in rural Muhlenberg County. Responding fire fighters found a home fully engulfed in fire. Fatalities were reported and troopers assigned to the Madisonville Post of the Kentucky State Police responded.
Six victims were located in the fire scene with three additional victims suspected to be in the residence. Two victims, one adult and one child, were flown to Vanderbilt University Hospital for treatment.
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
