(Radcliff, Ky.) — On March 31, 2014, at approximately 4:39 p.m., the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch arrested a man on charges related to child sexual exploitation.
Robert L. Dilks Jr., 66, is charged with 20 counts of possession of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor.
Dilks was arrested as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation that began in Arizona.
Authorities in Arizona took over an online account belonging to another individual who was arrested on charges related to child sexual exploitation, or what is commonly referred to as child pornography. Investigators utilized the account to locate others who were trading images that contained child sexual exploitation. The investigation led to Dilks’ residence on Graham Avenue in Radcliff.
KSP seized electronic equipment from Dilks’ residence. The items are pending a full forensic examination. The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are expected.
