Big Bone Lick State Historic Site ‘Ghost Hunt’

UNION, Ky. – Join the Tri-state Shadow Chasers for a night of paranormal investigating at Big Bone Lick State Historic Site on May 31 at 10 p.m.

Learn about “ghost hunting” as the Shadow Chasers demonstrate some commonly used tools. They will have digital voice recorders, digital thermometers and other tools that participants can use.

Participants will learn about the history of this famous location, including the park grounds, church and cemeteries. Please bring a digital camera if you have one available. Registration is required and the cost is $20 a person. Participants must be 13 and older; ages 13-17 must be accompanied by an adult.

The site is recognized as the birthplace of American vertebrate paleontology for its significant role in the development of scientific thought regarding extinction and the relationship of geology and paleontology the world over.

The park is located 22 miles southwest of Covington on KY 338, off US 42-127 and Interstate-71/I-75.
