Police nab burglary suspect exiting storage building

 

 

Laurel County, Ky. Sheriff John Root is reporting that Laurel Sheriff’s Deputy Kyle Gray along with Deputy Brandon Broughton arrested a London man on Monday evening February 9, 2015 at approximately 6:39 P.M.

Arrested was Jason Hale age 31 of MaryDell Road, London, KY.

The arrest occurred off Conley Road, approximately 4 miles southeast of London after deputies were dispatched to a burglary in progress at a storage building behind a residence there.

When deputies arrived at the scene they located this subject exiting the storage building. An investigation conducted by deputies determined that this subject was under the influence.

Deputies located a digital scale in the subject's possession. The subject told deputies he had smoked meth the day before.

Jason Hale was charged with burglary – third degree; criminal trespassing – second degree; public intoxication – controlled substances; and possession of drug paraphernalia and was lodged in the Laurel County detention Center.
