Man accused of removing his old shoes & replacing them with new ones at Walmart

 

 

Manchester, Ky. - MPD is reporting that on Tuesday, February 12, 2015 Manchester Police Officer Jeff Couch responded to Walmart to investigate a shoplifting complaint.

Upon arrival Officer Couch located Johnny Davidson with Walmart asset protection after he was observed removing his old shoes replacing them with new ones. Davidson was also observed concealing other items in the store.

During the arrest it was discovered Davidson had an outstanding warrant from Harrison and Clay counties.

Davidson was charged with theft by unlawful taking (shoplifting), criminal trespassing 3rd degree, and failure to pay fine.

Davidson was lodged in the Clay County Detention Center.
