Woman allegedly becomes intoxicated and creates a disturbance at work

 

 

Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Laurel Sheriff’s Deputy Mikey Ashurst arrested a Corbin woman on Thursday night February 12, 2015 at approximately 11:15 P.M.

Arrested was Loren Fox age 35 of Tye Town School Road, Corbin, KY.

The arrest was the result of a complaint Deputy Ashurst responded to at a business off Russell Dyche Memorial Highway in London where this subject was allegedly intoxicated and creating a disturbance.

When Deputy Ashurst arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation he learned that a female subject at the business had apparently gotten intoxicated at work and ran up a $300 bill, and began creating a disturbance in the business.

When Deputy Ashurst confronted the female subject sitting in the floor she became belligerent further creating a disturbance there. The subject cursed and screamed while being transported and while being processed.

Loren Fox was charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place and disorderly conduct – second-degree and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
