Manchester, Ky. - The latest update on the water situation by the Clay County Emergency Management was released on Thursday afternoon February 26, 2015.
City of Manchester customers should have water restored completely sometime this evening/tonight.
North Manchester continues to restore service daily to more customers and this will continue until service is fully restored to all their customers.
It is imperative that when you regain water to check your meter to make sure it is not busted or have leaks.
It is also imperative that everyone continues to conserve water while the systems fully recover.
The boil water advisory remains in effect.
We continue to distribute water to fire departments who have areas in their districts without running water. We will continue to do this until all customers are restored and as we have supply on hand.
