Unfounded domestic violence complaint leads to drug arrest - Laurel County

 

 

Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Mikey Ashurst along with Deputy Andrew Lawson arrested a Corbin resident early Thursday morning February 26, 2015 at approximately 4:55 A.M.

Arrested was Shelby Hardy age 20 of Robert E. Cox Road Apartments, Corbin, KY.

The arrest occurred off Robert E. Cox Road, approximately 8 miles south London after deputies were dispatched to a possible domestic violence complaint there.

Upon arrival, deputies conducted an investigation and determined that the domestic violence complaint was unfounded.

In addition, deputies located quantity of marijuana, 2 smoking pipes loaded with marijuana and other drug paraphernalia there.

Shelby Hardy was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
