Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Kyle Gray arrested an Artemus resident on Thursday evening February 27, 2015 at approximately 7:10 P.M.
Arrested was Saundra Elswick age 48 of T - Run Branch Road, Artemus, KY.
The arrest occurred at Walmart near Corbin in southern Laurel County after Walmart's loss prevention team detained this subject.
When Deputy Gray arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation he learned that this subject had allegedly been observed concealing store merchandise on her person value more than $111.
Saundra Elswick was charged with theft by unlawful taking – shoplifting and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
