Prowler complaint results in arrest - Laurel County

 

 

Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Mikey Ashurst arrested a Corbin man early Sunday morning March 1, 2015 at approximately 4:50 A.M.

Arrested was Brian Loomis age 42 Of Engineer Street Apartments, Corbin, KY.

The arrest occurred on Park Hills Road, approximately 12 miles south of London after deputies and Kentucky State police investigated a prowler complaint in the Park Hills Road area and located this subject in the area hood over his head and shining a flashlight, and appeared to be intoxicated.

Officers conducted an investigation determining that this subject was under the influence.

In addition officers located a white pill canister containing three and one half Xanax bars and a clear plastic baggie containing suspected marijuana.

This subject told officers he had got his vehicle stuck at approximately 12:30 and was looking for something to get it out.

Brian Loomis was charged with public intoxication – controlled substances, possession of marijuana, and possession of a controlled substance third degree.

This subject was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.

Assisting on the investigation and arrests were KSP Trooper Chris Saunders, Deputy Shawn Jackson, and Knox County Sheriff Deputy Drew Wilson.
