FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH THURSDAY EVENING... ...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM WEDNESDAY TO 1 PM EST THURSDAY...

DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

THE POTENTIAL EXISTS FOR HEAVY RAINFALL OVERNIGHT. THIS MAY LEAD TO SOME ISOLATED INSTANCES OF FLOODING LATE TONIGHT.

DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY.

THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR HEAVY RAINFALL MOST OF THE DAY ON WEDNESDAY...WITH A RISK OF FLOODING FROM WEDNESDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

THE RAIN IS EXPECTED TO CHANGE TO A FREEZING RAIN...SLEET...AND THEN SNOW WEDNESDAY NIGHT...WITH SNOW CONTINUING ON THURSDAY. GENERALLY...A THIN GLAZE OF ICE AND 3 TO 7 INCHES OF WET HEAVY SNOW IS EXPECTED DURING THIS TIME FRAME. THIS AMOUNT OF SNOW WILL CREATE TREACHEROUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS. AVOID UNNECESSARY TRAVEL IF POSSIBLE. IT MAY ALSO LEAD TO DOWNED TREES AND BRANCHES...WITH SOME POWER OUTAGES POSSIBLE.
