(Richmond, KY) -- The Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post is reporting the following activity for the month of February, 2015.
Troopers and Detectives issued a total of 1,283 citations, which included 102 for speeding, 4 for no child restraint and 69 for no seatbelts. There were 17 people arrested for driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. Troopers issued 229 courtesy notices, assisted 444 stranded motorists, and investigated 47 traffic collisions while inspecting 1,162 vehicles. Detectives and Troopers also responded to and investigated 1,019 complaints, opened 44 criminal cases, and made 278 criminal arrests.
