Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Mikey Ashurst along with Deputy Andrew Lawson arrested a Corbin resident early Friday morning March 6, 2015 at approximately 3:16 A.M..
Arrested was Ashley Hart age 30 of Ford Street, Corbin, KY.
The arrest occurred on Adams Road approximately 10 miles south of London after Deputy Ashurst conducted a traffic stop on a white colored Jeep Cmdr. that he observed failed to stop at a stop sign.
During the stop, Deputy Ashurst detected the odor of alcoholic beverages emitting from the vehicle and conducted an investigation on the driver determining that she was under the influence.
Ashley Hart was charged with disregarding a stop sign; and operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
