(Highsplint, Ky.) Kentucky State Police Post 10 in Harlan investigated a two-vehicle injury collision on KY 38 on Monday evening. Trooper Jimmy Halcomb and Sgt. Jason Joseph responded to the call just after 6:00 pm.
According to the investigation, Angelia Shuler, 45 of Evarts, was operating a 1999 Ford Taurus westbound on KY 38 when she struck a 2015 Honda CRV in the rear. The Honda was operated by Roxie Miracle, age 61 of Dunnsville, Virginia.
Ms. Shuler was transported by Harlan EMS to a helicopter landing zone in Evarts where she was then airlifted by AirEvac Lifeteam #88 to Holsten Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tenn. for her injuries. At the time of this release, her condition is not known.
Ms. Miracle, nor her two passengers, were injured in this collision.
Charges are pending in this collision.
