Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Shawn Boroviak arrested Samuel McQueen age 32 of McWhorter Road, London on Thursday morning March 19, 2015 at approximately 8:29 A.M..
The arrest occurred off Hammock Road approximately 2 miles south of London after deputies responded to a complaint of a male subject at a residence unknown to the homeowners there.
When Deputy Boroviak arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation he found this subject and his vehicle, – a tan colored Toyota Avalon there observing that the subject appeared to be under the influence. This subject was determined to be under the influence, and also had outstanding warrants of arrest.
In addition, this subject was found in possession of suspected crystal methamphetamine.
Samuel McQueen was charged with public intoxication – controlled substances and possession of a controlled substance – first degree, 1st offense – methamphetamine.
This subject was also charged on a Laurel County bench warrant of arrest for failure to appear in court on charges of terroristic threatening.
He was also charged on a Laurel County bench warrant of arrest for failure to appear in court on numerous traffic violations.
Samuel McQueen was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
