Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Tyler Morris along with Sgt. Brett Reeves arrested Jyll Burgett age 34 of Disney Drive, London on Wednesday night March 18, 2015 at approximately 11:45 P.M..
The arrest occurred off Disney Drive approximately 7 miles south of London after deputies were dispatched to a female subject allegedly under the influence and causing a disturbance.
While en route to the location, deputies were further advised that deputies had responded to this location twice earlier in the day regarding a similar complaint.
When deputies arrived at the scene and located this subject at the edge of the roadway they detected a strong odor of alcoholic beverages emitting from this subject.
An investigation determined that she was under the influence.
Jyll Burgett was charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
